Welcome to Moorina Haven Retreat.
Nestled on ten peaceful acres in the beautiful Moreton Bay countryside, Moorina Haven Retreat is a place designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and embracing the simple luxury of nature.
We are Tom and Amanda, and in 2026, together with our four children, we were fortunate enough to become the custodians of this beautiful property. Although the retreat had already welcomed guests for many years, it instantly captured our hearts. It represented everything we had dreamed of—a peaceful sanctuary where people could step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world.
Since becoming its owners, we have thoughtfully continued to enhance the retreat while preserving the warmth and character that make it so special. Every detail has been chosen with comfort, relaxation, and meaningful moments in mind, creating a private escape where guests can truly unwind.
We have many exciting plans to thoughtfully enhance and elevate Moorina Haven Retreat over the coming years. Our vision is to continue creating an unforgettable guest experience while preserving the peaceful charm and natural beauty that make this property so unique. We look forward to sharing this journey with both new and returning guests as the retreat continues to evolve.
As this is our family property, you may occasionally see Tom and Amanda discreetly tending to the grounds, whether maintaining the gardens, mowing the acreage, or carrying out general upkeep. We are mindful of your privacy at all times and strive to ensure your stay feels peaceful, secluded, and uninterrupted.
One of the things we treasure most about Moorina Haven is its incredible wildlife. It’s not uncommon to wake to birdsong, spot wallabies grazing nearby, or simply enjoy the tranquillity that comes from being surrounded by nature. We hope you’ll take the time to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the peaceful rhythm of the countryside.

For those wishing to enjoy a little extra indulgence during their stay, our daughter Mia is a qualified lash extension technician and offers appointments onsite by prior arrangement. If you would like to book a treatment, we’d be delighted to organise this for you.
