Welcome to Moorina Haven Retreat. We are delighted to host you and look forward to providing a peaceful and memorable stay. To ensure a smooth experience for both our guests and our family-run retreat, please read the following booking terms carefully.

Booking & Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required to secure all direct bookings.
• The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.
• Bookings made within 14 days of check-in require full payment at the time of booking.
• Reservations are not confirmed until the required payment has been received.
• Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Minimum Stay

• A minimum stay of two (2) consecutive nights applies to all bookings unless otherwise advertised or agreed in writing.

Additional Guests

• The accommodation rate includes the number of guests specified at the time of booking.
• Moorina Haven Retreat is an adults-only retreat and is unable to accommodate children or infants.
• The retreat accommodates a maximum of five (5) adult guests, including any approved additional guests.
• Any additional guests must be approved by Moorina Haven Retreat prior toarrival.
• Additional guest charges may apply.
• The maximum occupancy must not be exceeded at any time.
• Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted without prior approval.
• Exceeding the maximum occupancy or allowing unregistered guests to stay may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

Cancellation & Refunds

We understand that plans can change and aim to be as fair as possible while protecting our small family-run retreat.

• Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable.
• If we are able to rebook the cancelled dates, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a refund for the amount recovered, less any booking platform, payment processing or administrative fees.

Date Changes

• Requests to change booking dates made more than 14 days before arrival will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability and any applicable rate diRerences.
• Date changes requested within 14 days of arrival cannot be guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.

No-Shows & Early Departures

• Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and the full booking amount will be forfeited.
• No refunds or credits will be provided for early departures, late arrivals or unused nights.

Third-Party Bookings

If your reservation is made through Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz or another booking platform, the payment, cancellation and refund terms of that platform may apply in addition to these policies.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If events beyond your control affect your travel plans, please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee a refund outside of this policy, we will always do our best to assist where reasonably possible.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, illness, severe weather, natural disasters or other unforeseen events.
