Welcome to Moorina Haven Retreat.

Our goal is to provide every guest with a peaceful, relaxing and memorable experience. As a small, family-owned adults-only retreat, we kindly ask that all guests respect the property, surrounding environment and these House Rules throughout their stay.

Adults-Only Retreat

Moorina Haven Retreat is an adults-only retreat.

• Guests must be 18 years of age or older.
• Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children or infants, as the property has not been designed or assessed to be child-safe. Features such as the spa, dam, fire pit, uneven terrain and other natural elements present safety risks for young children.
• By making a booking, guests acknowledge that all members of their party are aged 18 years or over.

Maximum Occupancy

• The retreat accommodates a maximum of five (5) adult guests.
• The number of guests must not exceed the number confirmed at the time of booking.
• Additional guests must be approved by the hosts prior to arrival and may incur an additional charge.

Registered Guests Only

For the comfort, privacy and security of everyone on the property:

• Only registered guests listed on the booking are permitted to stay overnight.
• Visitors must receive prior approval from the hosts.
• Unapproved guests or visitors may result in the booking being cancelled without refund.

No Parties or Events

Moorina Haven Retreat is designed as a peaceful escape.

• Parties, celebrations, functions, gatherings and events are not permitted unless prior written approval has been obtained.
• Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour or disturbances to neighbouring properties may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

Quiet Hours

To maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat and respect neighbouring properties, we kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours between:

10:00 pm and 7:00 am

During these hours, please keep conversations, music and outdoor activities to a minimum.

Smoking & Vaping

• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the accommodation.
• If smoking or vaping outdoors, please do so responsibly and dispose of cigarette butts safely in an appropriate container.
• Guests are responsible for ensuring smoking materials are fully extinguished to minimise fire risk.

Additional cleaning or repair charges may apply if smoking or vaping occurs inside the
property.

Fire Safety

Guest safety is our highest priority.

• Please familiarise yourself with the location of smoke alarms, fire extinguisher
  and emergency exits upon arrival.
• Fire pits and BBQ facilities must only be used in accordance with the provided
  instructions.
• Never leave a fire unattended.
• Fire bans and Queensland Fire Department restrictions must always be observed.
• Glass and flammable materials must be kept away from the fire pit.
• Any unsafe use of fire may result in immediate termination of your stay.

Caring for the Property

We kindly ask guests to treat Moorina Haven Retreat with the same care and respect as they would their own home.

Please:

• Leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.
• Report any accidental damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible.
• Use appliances, furniture and amenities only for their intended purpose.
• Respect the gardens, wildlife and natural surroundings.
• Avoid moving furniture unless absolutely necessary.

Open & Honest Communication

Accidents can happen, and we completely understand.

We simply ask that guests communicate openly and honestly with us if anything is damaged, broken or requires attention during their stay. Prompt communication allows us to resolve issues quickly and ensure the retreat remains in excellent condition for future guests.

Our priority is always respectful communication and finding a fair solution together.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: From 3:00 pm

Check-out: By 10:00 am

These times allow us to thoroughly prepare the retreat for every guest.

If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact Amanda prior to your stay. Requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Parking

• Complimentary parking is available for up to two (2) vehicles.
• Please park in the designated driveway area only.
• Parking on lawns or surrounding landscaped areas is not permitted.
• Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

Failure to Comply with House Rules

Our House Rules are in place to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all guests, while
protecting the property and surrounding environment.

Failure to comply with these House Rules, including exceeding the maximum occupancy, bringing unregistered guests onto the property, hosting unauthorised parties or events, smoking or vaping indoors, causing excessive noise, or engaging in unsafe or unlawful behaviour, may result in:

• Immediate termination of your stay without refund.
• Additional charges for damage, excessive cleaning or loss caused during your stay.
• Recovery of costs associated with repairs, replacement of damaged items or any additional expenses incurred as a result of the breach.
• Refusal of future bookings at Moorina Haven Retreat.

By respecting these House Rules, you help us preserve this special place for every guest who visits.
